L3-Communications Marine Systems is world’s first organisation to transition their TickITplus certification to the ISO 9001:2015 standard

L3-Communications Marine Systems has been successfully transitioned by DNV GL - Business Assurance to the modernised ISO 9001:2015 standard using the newly updated TickITplus Base Process Library.

L3-Communications Marine Systems has been successfully transitioned by DNV GL - Business Assurance to the modernised ISO 9001:2015 standard using the newly updated TickITplus Base Process Library. L3-Communications are leading providers of automation, control and simulation systems for the marine sector and were one of the early adopters for the TickITplus scheme back in 2014. 

They achieved certification for the design, development and support of their systems with a scope that includes some widely separated sites in the UK and a natural part of their journey was to upgrade their management system to meet the ISO 9001:2015 standard. This transition represents an important step forwards for both L3-Communications Marine and DNV GL – Business Assurance, and demonstrates the benefits and flexibility of the TickITplus scheme especially in how easily it adapts to changes in standards and client needs.”
