The hydrogen focus area delivers techno-economic advisory across the entire hydrogen supply chain. Currently, hydrogen is most prevelant throughout the energy system in the form of grey hydrogen (produced via steam methane reforming with no means of capturing the produced carbon dioxide) however cleaner forms of hydrogen such as green (produced via renewable energy and electrolysis) and blue (steam methane reforming with carbon capture) are well placed for uptake across many markets in the energy transition.
