The 2 day ISO 9001:2015 Internal Auditor course is designed for delegates to optimise auditing skills and enhance audit capabilities. It is also designed to build confidence in planning and performing an effective audit, as well as reporting and taking action where necessary.

Objective

At the end of the course, attendees should have an understanding of auditing a quality management system and in particular be able to:

  • How to apply 19011 principles to ISO 9001:2015.
  • How to plan and prepare for an internal audit, gather audit evidence through observation, interview and sampling of documents and record.
  • How to prepare and report audit findings.

Prerequisites

Attendees should have prior knowledge of: The PDCA cycle, relationship between environmental management and impacts and effects, HLS requirements and knowledge of the requirements of ISO 9001:2015.   • The fundamental concepts and the seven quality management principles
  • The relationship between quality management and customer satisfaction

ISO 9001

  • An understanding of the requirements of ISO 9001, and the commonly used quality management terms and definitions, as given in ISO 9000. This may be gained by completing an CQI & IRCA-certified QMS Foundation training course or equivalent.
