Certification against the new ResponsibleSteel™ standard allows participating companies to demonstrate that they are comprehensively addressing the key impacts associated with steel production, which include greenhouse gas emissions, human rights, governance, health and safety and community relations. Steel producers can demonstrate that they are acting responsibly and buyers can have confidence that they are responsibly sourcing this raw material.
As technical partner to ResponsibleSteel™, DNV supported the development of the methodology and are now fully approved by the initiative as a Conformity Assessment Body (CAB). We can support you to understand how to apply the standard, including conducting readiness assessments to build knowledge in your business and ensure that the certification is as quick and easy as possible.
