M2 Subsea

Ensuring operations are as safe and cost effective as possible

M2 Subsea is one of the largest independent providers of ROV and vessel services, Project Management, Consulting & Engineering through their team of experienced personnel delivering fit for purpose, cost effective solutions with safety at its core.

The challenge

To ensure that M2 Subsea's offshore operations are as safe and cost effective as possible without compromise to quality and reliability.

M2 Subsea's needs

  • Surveys of the seabed and its substructure including UXO survey
  • Installation of the subsea assets, be it platform, template, pipeline, cable, turbine etc all requiring differing vessels and ROVs dependant upon scale and depth
  • Regular inspection, repair and maintenance of the same subsea and marine infrastructures
  • Environmental emergencies such as sunken vessel that are required to be made safe

How were DNV GL able to overcome the challenge?

With our expertise we are able to provide the ROV’s managed but also can engineer a solution to their needs if the client does not already have a detailed procedure or method in place. Our ROVs can be deployed from a variety of vessel and from the clients assets such as platform, semi-submersible, FPSO or even quayside where required. We provide them with the ability to survey, inspect, repair, maintain and decommission their subsea infrastructure robotically to depths of 4000 metres.

What M2 Subsea had to say

We selected DNV GL to work with us to achieve accreditation of our BMS based on our review which confirmed that we regarded the organisation as being regarded as the best within the industry, with regards to its competitors. We felt that to be accredited, we needed to be challenged by the best to ensure the integrity of our systems and procedures. DNV GL are not only held in high esteem by ourselves but by many peers and prospective clients and suppliers.
