Increased knowledge of the modelling capabilites within the software was the outcome for 25 Phast and Phast Risk users attending the Phast advanced modelling course in Beijing from 1-4 June. The Korea Gas Safety Corporation (KGS) has selected Phast Risk for assessment of risks from high-pressure gas pipelines. Oslo, 25 August: The China Special Equipment Inspection and Research Center (CSEI) and DNV have signed a cooperation framework agreement. For DNV the agreement entails the start of a close cooperation with one of the key regulatory agencies for the rapidly growing energy and food industries in China.

The semi-submersible platform is owned by CNOOC, China National Offshore Oil Corporation, the detailed design was done by MARIC, and it was built in Shanghai Waigaoqiao Shipbuilding Co. LTD.

We are pleased to announce the release of Leak v3.21, which has been developed to resolve a small number of issues raised following the Leak v3.2 release in 2007. The main issue addressed only affected customers with regional settings which use a comma instead of a point as the decimal symbol.

The Deepwater Offshore Technology Symposium, DTec 2008, was held in Shanghai, China on 17-19 November 2008 including the opening ceremony of the China Deepwater Offshore Basin at Shanghai Jiao Tong University.
