DNV is one of the first certification bodies in the world to be accredited to perform TickITplus Foundation Level Assessments.

TickITplus is a natural development of the highly regarded TickIT scheme in that it addresses the changes that have occurred in the IT industry since the introduction of TickIT over 15 years ago.

TickITplus is a process based scheme that adopts a graded approach to certification which can provide a quantifiable measure of an organisation’s capability, within the IT services lifecycle. The scheme takes into consideration the diversity of the IT sector and is relevant to software developers and suppliers of IT products and services.

As a global leader of audit and assessment services within the IT industry, DNV has been an active participant in the TickITplus project. We have been working with a early adopter organisations who are keen to progress to the next level of IT process capability and have that recognised with TickITplus certification.

IT systems and software companies can now take the next steps to TickITplus. Companies with existing TickIT certification can undertake a simple Transition Assessment to transfer to TickITplus.
