What is DNV Exchange
DNV's Maritime Industry Client's access


DNV Exchange is the PC and Internet-based class information service for shipowners, managers and masters that provides reliable, up-to-date information on class and survey status, certificates, conditions of class and a wealth of other information, tools and services.

DNV Exchange is available both as a secure internet web based service, and as PC based products to suit the needs from both DNV clients and other parties needing their own specific information from DNV. Different service levels, content and features are also provided depending on the client's business with DNV and the DNV Exchange subscription type.

The DNV Exchange portfolio of modules includes the following

DNV Exchange Basic
- a web based service, which provides a vast range of class information through an easy access

DNV Exchange Member

- includes additional features above DNV Exchange Basic, and can in addition be used stand-alone, i.e. while travelling or on-board.

DNV Exchange Nauticus
Owners/Managers of vessels having the NAUTICUS (Operation) class notation to view information and perform calculations on 3D graphic models of their vessels in DNV Exchange Nauticus (PC version).

Vessel Drawings
DNV enables their customers to get access to their Vessel Drawings and other subscription services through DNV Exchange Member, as well as the features of DNV Exchange Basic

Maritime bodies such as insurance companies, or prospective vessel purchasers can view vessel status information online upon granting of access by ship owners or managers.

Providing DNV Offshore Rules and Standards online

Experience feedback, casualty information, guidance on forthcoming regulations, DNV publications. Helping the maritime and offshore industries improve safety and ensure compliance.
