The DNV ISM Code services include:

ISM Code Certification
DNV will audit a company and its ships according to the provisions of the ISM Code. A Document of Compliance (DOC) will be issued to the company, and a Safety Management Certificate (SMC) will be issued to the ships. The ISM Code Certification includes an initial audit after at least 3 months of SMC operation, periodical audits - annual for DOC and intermediate for SMC - after 2 years, and renewal audits every 5 years.
