Critical issue:

• Atofina launched an initiative to improve the SHE performance of all their sites based upon the International Safety Rating System (ISRS)

Solutions:

• ISRS, a globally recognised benchmarking tool for assessing SHE performance was used to conduct baseline audits
• We delivered Modern Safety Management (MSM) and ISRS auditor training sessions to Atofina personnel, to enable them to drive the ISRS programme forward
• We also developed, together with Atofina, a bespoke version of ISRS known as Atofina Integrated Management Systems (AIMS), which contains an enhanced Process Safety Management content

Value delivered:

• Valuable SHE assurance for Atofina senior management resulted
• A tool for driving future SHE performance improvement based on a proven approach was provided
• The close working relationship resulted in Atofina engaging DNV Consulting for further work in specialist areas such as Asset Integrity
