Managing transport systems under a new regime

With increased focus on deregulation in all areas of transport there is a challenge to balance the pursuit of profitability against the imperatives of safety and responsibility. How can transport risk be managed through these changing circumstances?

Among the effects of deregulation is an influx of new companies to the industry. At the same time, well established players experience the need for cost reduction whilst maintaining high quality services. With travel increasingly a part of everyday life, the need for safe, reliable and efficient transport systems increases. In turn this has led to changes in national and international regulation and legislation. Managing risks under this new regime is a continuous challenge.

Our mission is to help transportation clients safely and responsibly manage change and developments in their business.

As a world-leader in risk analysis and safety studies, we have a proven track record in the application of techniques and systems to ensure safe and cost-effective design and operation of transport systems. We provide skills and expertise in a number of areas, including the evaluation of safety-critical hardware and software systems and in the provision of assistance to implement changes to management systems. To improve processes and enhance business performance, we add relevant knowledge and perspectives from other industries. (take out this last sentence?)Thus, we help transportation clients safely and responsibly manage change and developments in their business.
