Why Choose DNV?

Since introducing Risk Based Certification™ to the market DNV has set itself apart from other Certification Bodies, but this isn’t the only benefit of choosing DNV.

Our commitment to integrity, transparency, continuous improvement and quality has always been at the forefront of the services we provide.

DNV does not believe in hidden fees, in fact we believe that only actual time and expenses in relation to a client should be charged. Therefore we do not charge management fees, bi-annual fees or certificate issue fees. DNV also operates a site-sampling approach for multi-site clients which can lead to a reduction in mandays and therefore cost.

DNV has always had a commitment to providing technical excellence; this was confirmed in a recent survey. Over 95% of our clients felt that their DNV auditor understood their business – this has a really positive effect and enables clients to get much more out of the certification process.

In another survey, by Environmental Finance, DNV was voted the best Verification/Certification Agency 2004.

If you don’t believe us then talk to our clients:

"DNV’s new risk based auditing approach has aligned perfectly with the NATS move to business focused quality auditing" Troy Preston, Quality Manager, NATS

“We are very pleased that we chose DNV for Certification services.....I know that we will derive business benefits by tackling the minor non-conformances and observations raised during the audit. The audit was therefore a very useful exercise to go through. We would be happy to recommend DNV to other organisations.” Claire Springett, Quality Manager, Steer Davis Gleave

“I represent different units within AREVA (previously ALSTOM) for certification to ISO 9001 & 14001.
Over the years I have met with different DNV auditors and without exception have found their approach to be almost identical. They do not behave in a bombastic manner, and their advice, views and comments are always respected and acted upon because they are factual.
I have found this a rarity by my experience over the last twenty years of third party auditors who are usually bombastic, authoritarian, suffer from selective listening and act as if they have a divine right of interpretation. Long may this approach and our relationship continue.” David Stevens, Environmental & Quality Assurance Systems Manager, AREVA T&D Ltd
