Einar Telnes
Einar is an expert on emissions trading, as well as CDM and JI projects. He has also been instrumental in assisting national and international programmes develop monitoring and reporting principles.
experience: Einar has many years of experience in the construction sector. The past decade, he has been directly involved in more than 80 greenhouse gas projects in 15 different industry sectors. These projects have taken him to over 40 nations around the world. Einar was involved in developing the first monitoring and reporting principles for the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC), the World Bank PCF, and the first Dutch ERUPT program. experience: Michael has managed the validation and verification of numerous CDM and JI projects worldwide. The projects range from renewable energy to projects in the waste management and agriculture sector. He also gained experience with verifying emissions for the Norwegian process, pulp and paper, and oil and gas industry. background: Michael holds a master of environmental sciences from the Swiss Federal Technical Institute in Zurich. |

Gustavo Godínez
Gustavo's area of expertise is the Clean Development Mechanism (CDM). He works primarily with renewable energy projects.
experience: Gustavo has worked on more than 20 CDM projects in Latin America. All projects are related to the generation of electricity using waste, biomass, wind, and water instead of fossil fuel. Projects he has worked on include wind farms in Columbia and hydro projects in Guatemala, Honduras, México, and Columbia.
As a DNV employee since 1996, Gustavo has extensive certification experience from the oil and gas industry. As a lead auditor, he is qualified to conduct audits of quality, environmental, and occupational health and safety management systems. In addition to experience from the oil and gas sector, Gustavo has experience with thermo-electrical plants. background: Gustavo has a bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering. |

Validation and verification of CDM projects is Luis Filipe's primary area.
experience: Luis Filipe has broad expertise from the landfill, energy, and transport industry. This is experience he has brought with him into the validation and verification of CDM projects in Brazil. He is also a lead auditor for certification of management systems against the quality standard ISO 9001, the environmental standard ISO 14001, and the occupational health and safety standard OHSAS 18001. Before joining DNV, Luis Filipe worked in a steel plant (USIMINAS) for 23 years as a technical engineer and head of office for environmental control. background: Luis is a graduate in Metallurgical Engineering. |
