The goal is for trainees, to build competence within the areas of Business Control, General Accounting, Systems & Processes, and Human Resources.
In addition, a programme like this offers a unique opportunity for each trainee to gain comprehensive understanding of the critical challenges facing DNV from different perspectives in the company.
This is an on–the–job training programme, and we seek to tailor the programme based on each trainee’s qualifications and interests. The programme runs over 24 months and consists, in most cases, of three separate training blocks.
During the first month at DNV, the trainees complete an induction course and general training period in Corporate Controllership. The trainees complete three training blocks of six to ten months at different levels in the organisation and to a certain extent at different locations.
The goal is to give each trainee the opportunity to complete one period at the corporate level in the organisation, another period at the business area level, and a third period at an operative unit outside the trainee’s home country.
